With the "Perfect Seam" Tool:

-Butt the two sheets that are to be jointed.
-Run yours fingers along the joint to determin the areas of unevenness. Place a Perfect Seam tool's suction pad on the low side of the joint. For superior holding power, we recommend the surface be wiped clean. Position the "T" handle bolt with the swivel foot over to the sheet that creates the high spot in the joint.
-Simply turn the "T" bolt in a downward direction until the connection is no longer noticible. Next, pull the two sheets apart just enough to insert the seaming joint compound. The fabricator does not loose the original indexing position.
-Excellent tool for sinks and verticle fabricating applications.
-Another "Perfect Seam" tool can be positioned at a 90º angle to allow for clamping the sheets together.

Traditional Fabrication Method:

-Weighted objects such as tools are often in an attempt to level an uneven field joint connection.
-Once a field joint has cured, often times it requires time-consuming sanding to smooth out any unevenness.
